Accelerated Master’s Program – Program Requirements and How to Apply

Program Requirements

During the time of application, students must select a concentration they wish to pursue. Each concentration has a list of pre-requisites that applicants must complete prior to beginning graduate coursework.

Ideally applicants will have completed or are in the process of completing prerequisites at the time of application, however it is possible to be conditionally admitted, assuming students complete their prerequisite coursework prior to the start of graduate classes.

Science Policy Concentration Prerequisites

• Introductory courses in Economics
• Introductory courses in Political Science

Modeling & Informatics Concentration Prerequisites

• 2 Semesters of Math OR Advanced Statistics
• Some experience in Computer Programming

Application Process

Applications for the Accelerated program are reviewed in the same pool as all graduate applicants with application materials consisting of:

1. Completed Graduate School application form
2. Student’s undergraduate transcript from all institutions attended
3. Three letters of recommendation
4. Statement of purpose

* Applicants do not have to submit GRE or GMAT scores.
