The M.S. in Global Infectious Disease is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on both hard science and science policy. Our curriculum provides unique training that brings together science, health, technology, modeling, social sciences, economics, and governance to support students’ academic and career goals.

The curriculum integrates theory and applied skills positioning students at the intersection of science, policy, data and research to tackle dynamic infectious diseases challenges. The curriculum is practice- oriented with faculty who are active practitioners in their field whose expertise and experience span many scholarly discliplines. Students gain expertise in identifying and understanding research questions and findings, translating them for policymakers, industry leaders and the public, and informing infectious disease policy at national and global levels.
