Accelerated Degree Program in GLID
The M.S. in Global Infectious Disease program offers a special track aimed towards current undergraduate students in any undergraduate program at Georgetown University. Accelerated students are able to “double-count” 2 courses AND transfer 2 courses to their M.S. degree allowing students to complete their B.S. & M.S. degrees in a total of 5 years— reducing time and cost dedicated to the program.
Students currently in GU Undergraduate Programs will apply during their Junior Year and begin taking classes during their Senior Year of undergrad.
Accelerated students will work with the M.S. Global Infectious Disease staff & the Advising Dean of their undergraduate program to create a Plan of Study. See an example plan below.
