Accelerated Degree Program in Global Infectious Disease
The M.S. in Global Infectious Disease program offers a special track aimed towards current undergraduate students in any undergraduate program at Georgetown University. Accelerated students are able to “double-count” 2 courses AND transfer 2 courses to their M.S. degree allowing students to complete their B.A./B.S. & M.S. degrees in a total of 5 years— reducing time and cost dedicated to the program.
Students currently in GU Undergraduate Programs will apply during their Junior Year and begin taking classes during their Senior Year of undergrad.
During the time of application students must select a concentration that they wish to pursue. Each concentration has a list of pre-requisites that applicants must complete prior to beginning graduate coursework. Ideally applicants will have completed or are in the process of completing prerequitists
Accelerated students will work with the M.S. Global Infectious Disease staff & the Advising Dean of their undergraduate program to create a Plan of Study. See an example plan below.
