Program Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or be in their final undergraduate year.
- All majors and backgrounds are welcome.
- Work, research, clinical and other relevant experiences are valued.
- Applicants must have obtained an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and greater
- Standardized Test Scores (GRE or GMAT) are not a requirement for the 2026 Admission year
Academic Prerequisites
All students are required to have taken certain courses prior to program admission with additional prerequisites for each program concentration.
- Students are encouraged to apply to the program when they have taken, or are in the process of taking, the prerequisites.
- Students can be admitted with a provision to take prerequisite courses as applicable.
- Completed pre-requisites are not needed to apply, but must be completed prior to matriculating into the program. Applicants must achieve a grade of B or higher in order to matriculate.
- Until successful completion of the requirements, acceptance is considered conditional.
- Prerequisite courses can be completed at any accredited college or university, as well as accredited online programs.
Credit Transfer
Students pursuing either a master’s or a doctoral degree may be eligible to transfer credit to their current degree program, but normally only students pursuing a doctoral degree are eligible to receive advanced standing. Students who have previously enrolled in a graduate certificate or master’s degree program may be eligible to incorporate some or all of that coursework into a higher degree program.

Course Prerequisites for All Applicants
- One semester of Biology
- One semester of Statistics
- One semester of Chemistry (may be waived)
- One semester of Math or Calculus (may be waived)
Modeling and Informatics Course Prerequisites
- At least two semesters of math or advanced statistics
- One semester of Computer Science/Programming or comparable experience
Science and Policy Course Prerequisites
- One semester of Economics (Introductory or Macro economics)
- One semester of Government or Political Science
